The Federation of State Medical Boards is a nonprofit association that supports the efforts of the state medical boards. Our advocacy team partners with boards to develop policies and promote government regulations that protect the public, our IT team builds information networks and software solutions that allow boards to share physician data, and our credentialing specialists help physicians assemble professional portfolios to document they have the education, experience, and certifications necessary to practice medicine.
