Finding reliable, trusted sources can be a challenge. Since 1912, the Physician Data Center has partnered with state medical and osteopathic boards to build the nation’s most comprehensive database of licensed physicians and physician assistants.
PDC provider profiles give you immediate access to all sanctions reported by state licensing boards, the Department of Health and Human Services, federal regulatory agencies and a growing list of international licensing authorities.
In addition to sanctions, the PDC standard profile includes a provider’s licensure history and biographical information, education and training and national identification numbers (when available). Specialty board certifications from the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) are available with our premium profile, eliminating the need to query additional sources. All our data is received directly from the state medical boards and is maintained by a team of data-quality specialists. The PDC is accredited by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) and also meets Joint Commission and URAC standards. The PDC is recognized as primary source equivalent and is designated as an ABMS display agent.
